Meet Hiba,
The EQ Strategist
Hiba Tanvir is an EQ Strategist, keynote speaker, and co-author of The Career Breakthrough Playbook—a four-time award-winning book and #1 New Amazon Release in Career Growth. Her work sits at the intersection of Emotional Intelligence, performance, and humanity in the age of AI.
After years of teaching Emotional Intelligence, Hiba narrowed her focus to what she believes matters most: self-regulation. Awareness without regulation creates insight, not change. Regulation is what allows leaders to think clearly, respond intentionally, and perform under pressure.
After witnessing the unexpected impact of Play-Doh in executive boardrooms, Hiba developed the Play & Pause Methodology™—a proprietary framework that blends strategic pause with intentional play to help high-functioning leaders move out of emotional over-control and into real regulation.
Armed with an MBA and advanced resilience training from Harvard University and the Gottman Institute, Hiba goes beyond theory. She designs Emotional Intelligence curricula for educators and students and is sought after for her playful yet highly strategic approach that makes EQ practical, memorable, and measurable.
Hiba believes that in the AI era, technical skills will be matched or automated—but the most self-regulated person in the room will be the one who leads, adapts, and wins. Through keynotes, workshops, and classrooms around the world, she helps people not just understand Emotional Intelligence, but embody it—so they can feel better and perform better at work and at home.
Beyond her work with organizations, Hiba leads global impact initiatives including the Man Up Program, equipping youth—particularly in Africa—with Emotional Intelligence skills, and Hope Kitchen, a social enterprise creating dignified work opportunities for struggling women. Her work reflects a core belief: emotional intelligence is a powerful driver of resilience, equity, and long-term change.
In her free time, she can usually be found playing and pausing with her two sons.
Hiba Tanvir's impressive educational background includes Harvard University coursework in Building Personal Resilience, a Master's degree, Early Childhood Certification, and specialized accreditations in Emotional Intelligence and Emotion Coaching from the Gottman Institute.
Hiba developed the innovative "Man Up" program specifically designed to
teach Emotional Intelligence to youth
in Nigeria, demonstrating her commitment to global EI education and development.
Her impact extends beyond corporate consulting through Hope Kitchen, a social enterprise she founded that provides dignified work opportunities to struggling women through a home-based catering business, which has gained recognition in major media outlets.
